Under the title STUDIO BERLIN , the Boros Foundation has been presenting the artistic production of more than 120 Berlin artists since September 2020 in collaboration with Berghain and showing them at all levels of the club. The exhibition includes national and international positions from the fields of photography, sculpture, painting, video, sound, performance and installation.

STUDIO BERLIN addresses the drastic upheavals in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and primarily serves to reflect current trends and changes in art and society and to give artists living in Berlin a place to present themselves. With Yael Bartana, Monica Bonvicini, AA Bronson, Tacita Dean, Simon Denny, Simon Fujiwara, Cyprien Gaillard, Isa Genzken, Anne Imhof, Sven Marquardt, Adrian Piper, Anna Uddenberg, Wolfgang Tillmans and many more. The accompanying documentation is an extension of the exhibition and includes In addition to installation views of the works, there are also submissions from the participating artists. In drawings, photographs or sketches created specifically for the catalogue, but also in statements, poems and other text fragments, the participants in the exhibition provide very personal perspectives on their work during this challenging time. With a foreword by Klaus Lederer, Berlin’s Senator for Culture and Europe, and an introduction by Juliet Kothe and Karen and Christian Boros.
