The Haunted Mansion of Crypto project runs across two gaming-themed venues in Basel. Artworks are installed among a collection of historical board games in the attic of the Historisches Museum Basel and the other, Fantastic Empire, a Sci Fi and Fantasy store selling games, character, merchandise and collectibles – past and contemporary sites of gaming that distill social and political ides of their time.

This project and publication was produced as part of Art Basel Parcours 2018. The Parcours sector engages the public and fairgoers by placing site-specific sculptures, interventions, and performances in the city’s neighbourhoods. Parcours is curated by Samual Leuenberger of SALTS exhibition space.
